Sketchbook Assignment
1) Use the 2 rectangles sided by side in your sketchbook.
2) Take a photo of the drawing mannequin to use as reference when you are at home. If you did not get a chance to take one in class, please use one of the options below:

3) Draw out your mannequin in the first box on your sketchbook assignment page focusing on Shapes only. Pay close attention to sizes and proportions. If you go outside the box, that's not a problem, just do your second drawing on an extra piece of white paper and we will add it in after.
4) In the 2nd box (or on a separate piece of paper) draw your mannequin again in the exact same pose, but this time focus on where you see lights and darks (highlights and shadows) on the mannequin and use pencil shading to transform it from simple shapes to 3D forms!
